Are managers and leaders different? Answers to numerous such questions have been sought over time This program is aimed at developing an insight into the multi-faceted concept of leadership and seeking answers to the above questions. The objective is to develop leadership competencies in managers to enable them to identify leadership situations and deal with them accordingly. It is also aimed at understanding what is required to bring about change in one’s self…to lead, not only in one’s immediate working sphere but also outside it. Executive Program in Leadership for Managers has been specially designed for Young Managers who want to become effective leaders in the near future.

>> Eligibility Criteria

Minimum 50% marks in graduation.

3-10 years of work experience.

>> Pedagogy

The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will leverage use of technology. It will consist of a judicious blend of lectures, case studies, assignments, sessions from senior managers in industry and films.

>> Certification

IIM Calcutta shall carry out the evaluation required for certification. The faculty members teaching their respective courses will choose the method of evaluation most appropriate to the material. The certificate will be awarded directly by IIM Calcutta

>> Program Delivery

The sessions will be delivered on Hughes HughesNet Global Education interactive learning platform. The heart of the platform is a powerful user interface that enables large number of geographically distributed students to have a highly interactive ‘one to one’/ ‘one to many’ exchange with a central faculty. The system incorporates live broadcast video, two way audio and data interactivity to enable the students to watch and interact with the faculty live on their PC’s. The Classrooms could be HughesNet Global Education Class-rooms, HughesNet Fusion Class-rooms, HughesNet Direct to Corporate Class-rooms.

IIMC and HCIL reserve the right to foreclose applications depending upon exhaustion of seats.

Important Notes
- All the forms should reach HCIL Gurgaon by 4 PM on or before the last date of application.
- Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Delay in bank loans etc will be individual's responsibility and no delay will be accepted on this account by HCIL / Institute
- No batch change is allowed under any circumstances and Institute’s decision will be final in this regard.
- Any delay in reaching the forms due to postal or any other reasons will be individual's responsibility
