CSC operator training offers (_12_) days’ training on computer as well as non-computer based modules for G2C and B2C transactions. The program covers computer-based modules such as basic computer operations, computer peripherals deployed at CSC, internet, basic maintenance and trouble shooting, G2C application etc. as well as non-computer modules such as About CSC/role of CSC operator in the project/Communications/team coordination/motivation/ethics/finance and accounts management/reporting/record maintenance etc. The intensive training session provides appropriate weightage to technical as well as non-technical modules and the training sessions are organized and planned to match overall training objectives. Each training session is designed to impart either knowledge, skill, or attitude and thereby build capacity.

The objective of the training is to build capacity of a trainee to conduct successful, confident, and satisfactory G2C and B2C transactions as a CSC operator. The training has in-built modules, sessions and contents to ensure that a trainee develops his overall personality to manage the job of a CSC Operator, which involves offering G2C/B2C services so as to elicit participation of the local communities and being responsive to their needs.

The trainees are graduated from the training course upon successfully meeting the evaluation criteria which includes :

• Non-objective assessment (internal validation) while the training is in progresses. This is to ensure that there will be no fitment issues with candidates’ attitude/compatibility/temperament vis-à-vis the requirements of project
• Computer lab assessment – to evaluate if a candidate has gained adequate keyboard skills, basic computer applications such as word processor and spreadsheet, internet, knowledge and skill on domain related applications (G2C services)
• Computer theory 30-question multiple-choice test - 30 minutes
• Non-computer theory, 30-question multiple-choice test – 30 minutes

The program is divided into total of 6 modules. The course will comprise of 60 hours of training, with: Simple to understand concept based Theory & Lab demos, Interactive Q & A sessions, Visual feel of “How things work”

>> Pedagogy

The teaching approach will be highly interactive taking advantage of the technological benefits. The pedagogy followed for the program will be a judicious blend of lectures, presentations and interactive practice session.

>> Eligibility

BA/B.Com/B.Sc/Diploma/ITI/10+2 pass
Basic computer skills – MS Office [Word, Spreadsheet], and English typing, knowledge of Hindi typing will be an added advantage though not a must.

>> Program Delivery

The sessions will be delivered on HughesNet Education interactive onsite learning platform The heart of the platform is a powerful user interface that enables large number of geographically distributed students to have a highly interactive ‘one to many’ exchange with a central faculty. The system incorporates live broadcast video; two way audio and data interactivity to enable the students to watch and interact with the faculty live on a PC.
