Software Testing is a process of evaluating a system by manual or automatic means and verify that it satisfies specified requirements or identify differences between expected and actual results.

Testing is an exercise to simulate a system or programme operation. It helps the programme to achieve the required goal. Testing analyze a programme with the intent of finding problems and errors that measures system functionality and quality. It also evaluates the attributes and capabilities of a program and access whether they achieve the required results.

Understand the process of Test Engineering
Perform Software Test Planning
Develop Test Cases
Execute Test Cases and Manage Defects
Understand methods of testing client-server and internet applications

The program is divided into total of 7 modules. The course includes 60 hours of learning. The course will cover the fundamentals of testing as well as test engineering practice. There will be assignments after each of the modules, which will be used as evaluation of learning by the students. The minimum pass mark for completion of the course would be 50 %. Every successful student will receive a certificate from AmitySoft.

Students from 3rd year of Engineering and 2nd year of MCA onwards are eligible to take up this course. Students should be familiar with computers and should have reasonably good written and oral communication skills.

The sessions will be delivered on HughesNet Education interactive onsite learning platform The heart of the platform is a powerful user interface that enables large number of geographically distributed students to have a highly interactive ‘one to many’ exchange with a central faculty. The system incorporates live broadcast video; two way audio and data interactivity to enable the students to watch and interact with the faculty live on a PC.

  • All the forms should reach HCIL Gurgaon by 4 PM on or before the last date of application.
